The thing to keep in mind is that the '91 S had a 2.1 liter engine which *does* have problems... I don't recall the exact nature of the problem, but as I recall it has something to do with the head not being strong enough and dies... It's sort of an unspoken "feature" on the 2.1l engine... Mileage is the key... apparently they all eventually where out and die. Good luck... personally, I'd recommend getting an '89 or later turbo... great car, no known flaws and a heck of a lot more fun to drive... ;) -Justin '85 900T '90 SPG
