The 900 model changed in '94. Since you want an auto, the "classic" (pre-'94) 900 had a 3-speed auto, while the "new generation" or "NG" 900 has a 4-speed. I cannot recommend any classic Saab 900 auto unless it has a Turbo. I don't think there was an SE designation for the classic 900. There was a base, S, and Turbo trim level, with increasing doodads in each. In the NG 900, the SE has upscale trim, including fancier trip computer, automatic climate control, leather seats, moonroof, power seats... Some of these options will be found in some 900S models, too. --------------------- John R.
