Subject: 9000 sometimes smokes

About one out of 4 times that I start my 94 9000 CSE after it has been sitting overnight, usually when the weather is quite warm, a fine, light bluish almost white, oily smelling (not sweet) smoke comes from the exhaust. If I do not touch the accelerator this continues and would envelope the whole neighborhood in an embarrassing cloud. However, as soon as the throttle is opened, the smoke stops and does not return at idle or during sudden decellerations. There doesn't seem to be any change in oil level in the 4000 to 5000 miles between changes. I have driven old cars with shot rings or valve guides but I have never seen this sort of intermittent behavior. Could it be an early sign of a leaking turbo bearing? Any ideas?
