If you aren't aware of your speed, what are you paying attention to? My first experience with such a device was at the age of 19 when I borrowed my father-in-law's car and the alarm went off before I got to the first intersection. In a fit of pique, I spun the setting up and out of the way but forgot to reset it when I returned the car. He thought long and hard about lending it to me again. Sooo. No wonder I never looked in the manual for this. ;-) Kal
