I don't know if the 85 and 87 reservoirs are the same or not but on my 85 the part where the clutch slave cylinder hose connects to (on the reservoir) was clogged so I took a something long and very thin and run it from underneath (safety wire will work). Of course the brake fluid will leak so have lots of rags down there and rinse with a degreaser to get rid of the little that might of gotten on the car. Also the best way to bleed it is by applying pressure. Buy or borrow a pressure/vaccuum pump and use it, also do have a second person to help in pumping if you are going to just use the clutch pedal to bleed. Another thing I had happen was the hose connection to the slave cylinder on the transmission came loose (I assume vibration) so check it for tightness, I know that a full turning wrench will not get in there unless is modified and bent. Let us know what fixed it. good luck. Johnny Herrera 1985 SAAB 900S
