You could try "What Car" which gives fairly reliable guides to resales by model, year, condition. As for selling, a dealer to take it off your hands at a silly price or privately (Auto Trader?) for a more sensible price but slower. Don't be in a rush, present it well and you will get a good price - as is true of all things... Trade margins for non-franchise dealers are 12-16%. If you do go with a dealer don't believe any higher number.
