Hi everyone, here's a strange phenomenon which the mechanic cannot figure out: When I start the car and drive off without backing up, the left rear wheel usually emits an annoying squeal as if something is rubbing that shouldn't be. After a few minutes of driving, it goes away. The stranger thing is that when I go in reverse from the beginning, the wheel does not make that sound. It's almost like the wheel needs to be lubed by the reverse motion, or by continual driving. I hate it because it will also show up again when I am in slow traffic. Does anyone have any ideas? The mechanics say it's not the brakes. Thanks! Roman
