Saab is making some mid-year changes to the 9-3. According to my local dealer (Sports & Specialists in Princeton, NJ), the 5-speed 9-3 SE's will have a 200 HP engine, while the auto trans ones will keep the current 185 HP. Also, the 9-3 SE will have a 5-spoke alloy wheel (similar to the 9-5) design instead of the 3 "tortilla-chip" model that is currently available. Also, they are making some small dash modifications, including something having do with the cup holders. The dealer admitted he has not seen pictures of any of these changes yet. These newer 9-3's should be available sometime in October.
