When the compressor go, it is a good idea to thoroughly flush the system
while it is open to get rid of any metal that may have come out and
gotten in the system. After the expense of a compressor, the expansion
valve and drier can both be had for about $50 and are cheap insurance
for the new compressor.
The high side readings indicate either too much refrigerant or a high
