I have an 87 9000S, and your story sounds familiar. I bought mine this past December and had an idle/stalling problem. My Saabtech friend, who drives an 87 9000T, cleaned the throttle plate, replaced a vaccum line and reset the basic idle and throttle position switch. That solved the problem for a while. I still have a some roughness after the first start in the morning for about 1 minute, then it is okay the rest of the day. Your use of Berryman Fuel Injector Cleaner was right on the money. I use that, as well as the Berryman B-12 Chemtool. You will probably have to reset your basic idle. The www.saabnet.com Bulletin Board has the procedure in their FAQ section.
