From what I understand from my mechanic, Saab didn't use chips (at least the ones for tuning) in the classic Saabs. Only the 900's from '94 on have chips. However, you can upgrade the performance of your car by buying a black box from Group 6 in Arizona. They also have other performance mods for your earlier 900.
