1. If you have a 900S, you do not have a Turbo, so don't worry about it. 2. Assuming your 900T is pretty much stock, what is running is the electric fan. This will provide some cooling to the radiator/engine compartment. But as far as this being of any benefit to turbo bearings, forget it! The oil stops moving across the turbo bearings when you shut off the engine, which stops the oil pump. If the turbo is too hot at this point, the oil at the turbo bearings will break down. Thus the bearings are not properly lubricated as they spin down. Also, more damage will be done when you start the motor again, since you've burned off the little bit of oil which would have been on the bearings. 3. To really add insult to injury, rev the engine as you start it! Remember that it takes time for the oil to be pumped through the system.
