I got a curiosity question, how much work is involved in replacing the 8 valve nonturbo engine in my 85 900S into a 16 valve turbo? I can get the engine withought problem and have the plave to do the work. It only took me 2 days to replace the transmission on this car back in 92. I am mainly concerned with wiring computer (do I need a different one?). I am very mechanically inclined, my Saab never seen a mechanich except for wheel alignments. I know there is a APC box that I don't have, I would need all the turbo hoses and I probably wont be able to use my exhaust headers I would have to stick to the factory manifold. How about fuel system, I have the K-Jetronik. How new on the engine can I go with, 86, 87, 88...???? Just curious!!!!! Thanks Johnny Herrera 1985 SAAB 900S
