The only causes I'm aware of for a total >lack of boost would be a seized turbo or a massive vacuum leak >of some sort.... Well I'm stumped. The turbo is not seized - in fact I put in a replacement just to be sure. I can find no leaks, massive or otherwise. When I disconnect the vacuum line to the intake manifold, plug the manifold, and pressurize the line as described in the manual for checking out the APC components, the solenoid starts to chatter about .25 bar. If I read the manual right that means the APC components are all working - not properly it appears since the chatter should begin at .5 bar if I understand it right. But still that shouldn't cut my boost to 0. The engine runs fine at low loads - it just has no power and no boost. When I manually work the turbo waste gate, it seems to seat fine with 'clack' and has good spring pressure. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. Carl Hansen Reply to: <carlhnopsamc.net>
