I have a wind noise on my 96 900SE, but I found it coming from a different area. Look at the roof in front of the rear-view mirror, and see if the upholstery is sagging. I have a pronounced high pitch whine when I drive between 50-80 mph. It seems different depending on wind aspect also, which led me to believe you might have the same problem. By pressing on the inside of the roof right behind the mirror, I can change the noise and make it go away sometimes. My guess is that something has come loose in the trim around the windsheild and roof, and is causing wind noise. I have the car in Europe now with the military, and am planning on fixing the problem when I get it back to the US and it goes back under warranty. My noise also goes away at very high speeds, over 100 mph. Unfortunately I won't be able to demo that to the repair folks when I get it fixed. Good luck. Ken Ferguson
