On my -92 2.3T 9000CS I once got the DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) 77590 which signals some unspecified airbag ECU fault. After resetting the DTC (had to consult a SAAB shop) I have not experienced this any more. The SAAB original workshop manual states that the ECU should NOT be replaced for this fault, if occational. ("Resetting" the code simply means to erase the DTC stored by the ECU. The ECU has a small persistent memory to store DTCs for detected faults, false or not...)
