Subject: my car's problems

hi, i just bought a 89 saab 9000 CD turbo. I've found lots of problems most of them minor but id just love to have a perfect car:) The major problem i have is a coolant leak. I've seen coolant on the left side of the intake manifold when looking at the car from the front, but mainly when under the car ive seen coolant dripping from behind the oil pan in a few places too. Has anyone had a similar problem? I've been refilling the coolant almost daily for the past week just so i can drive the car to school. Another problem i have is that i cant see the information center led stuff above the steering wheel i figure that the interior light sensor is broken because in the right light i can just barely see the led's showing 13.8 volts or so.. how do i replace the sensor? where do i start taking apart the dash to get it out seems to really be the tricky part. Another problem is when i open the doors the dome light doesnt come on and when i open the glove compartment that light doesnt come on. no fuses blown. but sometimes when i open the door the dome light comes on for a millisecond and goes off:)?? can anyone suggest some stuff to check out? my abs system light is always on too no abs fuses blown but when getting it inspected they installed new cv joints could this affect it? heh i know im asking too many questions but any help would be greatly appreciated. this is the most beautiful car ive ever seen and id hate for a coolant problem to ruin it. please help!!:) -----== Posted via Deja News, The Leader in Internet Discussion ==----- http://www.dejanews.com/rg_mkgrp.xp Create Your Own Free Member Forum
