I own an 87 9000S. I don't know how much luck you will have at having your radiator rodded out. On the earlier model 9000s the radiator had to be replaced once the flow became blocked. Try using a good flush in your cooling system. Pre-mix your coolant with distilled water and refill. In fact it may be a good idea to poor a couple of bottles of distilled water through system to remove water with any minerals before refilling. You should be flushing your coolant once a year or every two years. Check out the October 98 Motor Trend Car Care section. They explain some interesting things, especially if your engine has aluminum engine parts, and Saabs definitely do. Ken Washington 87 9000S 87 900S 83 900T
