Scott, The V6 came along with the newer body style. This engine came from the GM parts bin and was a total disaster. I owned one, I know. The last thing you would want to do is try to install this engine in your car. Installing a turbocharged Saab 4 would be the best bet, but I have no idea how hard this would be to do. It might be easier and cheaper to sell the car and buy a turbocharged convertible. Tim.
