with the (soon to expire) lease rate on the 9-3, the package lookes very attractive, BUT, it appears for the same relative cost, i can BUY a 2 year old 9000cde with 17k miles on it. SAABS seem to depreciat more than many other cars and i rarely keep a car for more than 2-3 years. i love the 9-5 se but that price of 40k is well beyond what i am willng to spend on a car.. i am selling a 42k Diesel Suburban now that the kids are gone but have plenty of plans for that money. how about another thought?? a volvo s70??where does that fit in the picture of 9-3 , 9-5, 9000 ???? i am looking for a vehicle for mom and i to use around town but also on long crosscountry trips to visit the kids...and since mom might have to drive it, it will wind up being an automatic. i tend to speed and drive 'assertively' but my wife is more interested in the "dual climate control" than low vs. high pressure turbos. any opinions of owners ?? fans??
