Your gas mileage seems a little low. I had an 87 900S 16V 5spd. The car
averaged 25 to 27 mph for local driving and 30 to 33 mpg on the highway.
Could your speedometer inaccuracy problem be related to your wheels and
tire size. The 87 900s I had was running 195/60 15 on the stock wheels.
Changing your tire size and profile can affect your speedometer accuracy
and mileage.
