Hi, I have had all of the problems tha you mention. The steering drift was due to wheel alignment, but might be due to unbalanced wheels or tyre pressures. I find that if I change gear as the Police do I rarely get problems, except wih first. You can accelerate to the spees that you want, back off slight so there is no pressure on the gears, and change gear. Once the top engine mounting is replaced I will see if the poblem goes. I sometime double de-clutch to get into first gear. I haven't figured out the hesitation yet.
