Alan, I'm not sure of where you are located, but here is my imput. When I bought my 87 9000S this past December, the previous owner had to replace the lower motor mounts before I would buy the car. I agreed to take care of the upper. The upper mounts cost me $125.00. My Saabtech friend installed them for free. He has an 87 9000T and does his own work. I watched what he did for the uppers. There are to ways to replace the upper mounts. You can replace the entire brackets or cut our the old and press new mounts into the bracket. Check the www.townsenimports.com website. They have part numbers and may have information about changing the mounts in their technical section. Good luck.
