Greg, I had an 83 900T for over 13 years and 251,000 miles...I used the Bosch Platinum plugs and gapped them at .026...That was the gap on the original plugs that came in my car from the factory...As for your rough idle, check your vaccum lines to make sure you have no leaks...If you have an AutoZone or Pep Boys near you, pick up a can of the Berryman B-12 Carb & Choke Cleaner and a can of the B-12 Chemtool...Use the spray stuff to clean your throttle plate assembly...Put the B-12 Chemtool in the gas tank...It will help clean your fuel system, injectors and valves, as well as remove moisture from the the system...Good luck, Ken Washington 87 9000S 87 900S 83 900T
