Subject: Spark plug gap for 900 8v
I recently changed the plugs, wires, rotor and dist. cap on my 86 900 8v.
The car ran fine, but the maintenance was due, so I did these changes
myself. Now the car idles rough until it warms up.
I changed out the champion plugs with bosch platinums. I gapped them
according the recommendation of the auto parts store (although I don't
remember exactly what the measurement was). I'm wondering if I got the
gap wrong - can someone tell me the proper gap for these plugs and my
engine? Also, anything else I might have done to create this low-idle
roughness when cold? Thanks.
