Both cars are great, but they're different. The Saab is more like a Swiss Army
knife. Great performance (200hp, 200+ lb ft torque at low rpms); great
versatility (hatchback, largest trunk of any car sold in the U.S. at 24 cu ft)
and excellent safety (lowest injury rate of any mid-size car according to
insurance industry records - better than Volvo, M-B, BMW, etc...).
The BMW has superior handling however... But, when you read the above, and
figure that a comparably priced 3-series is several thousand dollars more,
there's really no comparison...
