Yuck. I guess the alarm on the '93 models was quite different then. It is /much/ for kind to the user by imposing no time limits. In fact, it's one of the nicest ones I've ever used. Unlocking the trunk will disable the alarm while open, then turns itself back on after the trunk lid is closed (the trunk is *always* locked, and can only be opened with a key or the driver's door button).
