Maybe didn't make myself clear.  You are correct, don't use regular ATF in the
power steering units.  AMSOIL ATF exceeds the requirements for GM power
steering units and is OK to use.  I've done it now for about 15 years.  Only
problems were because of the GM power steering units using seals harder than
the aluminum.  Called 'morning sickness"<g>.
