Subject: Picking up my 1995 900 SE convertible tomorrow...

Ok, I kind of just stumbled into this, but I am taking delivery on a '95 900 SE convertible, and I have a few questions. I went to the Internet to research the car, but that just left me with more questions. Then I found this message board, and I hope someone here can answer these queries I have... First, I am paying $17,495 from a used car dealer for the car. It has 58,278 miles, but this price (from all I have read) still seems very low for a 900 SE with an automatic transmission. I didn't even haggle over the price, I just paid what was on the sticker. Does this seem too low? Should I suspect foul play? The Kelly Blue book on the car is $20,475/$26,000. I did a title search, and the car is clean, and has only had one owner (in New York City). I have been patting myself on the back for getting such a good deal, but now I have started to worry that it is too good a deal. The car is in PERFECT shape, no dents, rust, scratches, or tears to be seen...the engine is so clean you could eat off of it. What gives? Next, this is my first SAAB, and I was wondering if there is anything I should pay particular attention to when picking it up. There was a noticeable shake in the car when I test drove it, but the salesman assured me it was because of a bent tire, which they were going to replace. A long as the shake is gone, I am going to buy the car, but should I watch out for any other known problems? Lastly, I did a recall search on the 1995 900, and there were a number of recalls (six) on the car. I don't think the car has complete service records, but can I bring it to a SAAB dealer after I get it and make sure all six procedures had been done to the car? I hope someone can help me...email would be most convenient. Thanks in advance, Taggard
