I had an 85 900 and all my lights went crazy. It was indeed grounding problems. Locate the common grounding points throughout the car and clean all contacts. It appears that if a light has a poor ground it will find a way to ground through another device that shares the same common ground tie point, and some weird and crazy things happen at random.
