You can also get a lower temp t'stat and fan switch from Saab (expensive) or from a VW dealer (cheaper). Parts #'s escape me at the moment, but my dealer new exactly what I wanted and had it in stock, so you could get the numbers there and then do some price shopping. Bob L.
