I have a '92 900 with 105k miles. Recently the fuel injecters have started to make a pretty loud clicking sound. One of the injectors is much louder than the others. The injectors have always made a slight clicking noise, but it has recently become much more pronounced. The gas mileage has not declined, nor has the performance. The engine seems to be running just fine. Is this typical of aging injectors or is this a serious problem? Should I consider having them replaced? Would it be likely for them to fail suddenly and leave me stranded? What should I expect to pay to have the injectors replaced? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
