Hi, I'm the proud owner of my first Saab, a 1985 90 (sold in the UK for a year or so, the last incarnation of the 99). I noticed last week and today that it's starting to run hot whenever I have to sit in traffic. The temperature is rising steadily into the red after about 10 minutes. The fan comes on eventually, but doesn't really prevent the temp rising. The oil/water levels are fine. I know Saabs run hot, but is this sort of thing normal? If not, any advice? Thermostat etc??
