I have for sale, in the Philadlephia area, a 1991 Beryl Green Saab 900 Turbo Convertible (very rare color, only produced in 1991). Car has 110,000 miles on it. Automatic transmission, ABS, Driver's side airbag, In dash CD player, Grey leather interior, Dual power seats, dual heated seats (driver side with rheostat), brand new (4 month old) black german canvas convertible top, Remote Keyless entry/alarm (after market Viper with shock sensor), brand new exhaust (replaced 2 months ago). Except for the A/C everything in the car works including power antenna, headlight wipers/washers, convertible top mechanisms (still operates silently and efficiently, unlike my 88 convt which is loud and slow)). As far as the A/C system is concerned, the compresor functions perfectly, but there is a recently developed leak in one of the hoses. Estimate from saab dealer was approx $250.00 plus freon. Car had been in a minor front end accident 2 years ago, which was repaired. Recently while parked in a parking lot, was rear ended. Estimate on repairs range from $700.00 for bending rear end out and repainting (would look almost perfect) to about 1600.00 for replacing all damaged area and repainting (would look perfect). Considered selling car b/c i just dont have the need for 4 saabs. I currently also own an 88 springtime in sweden edition convertible, an 86 900 turbo, and a recently acquired 1991 talladega red 900 SPG. I havent gotten the rear end repaired yet. I decided that if I was going to sell the car, i would give the prospective buyer the choice between the 2 different rear end repair options. If interested please eamil me at rajnopsam.temple.edu I purchased this car from a dealer in 1994. I am the cars second owner. The car was originally sold and serviced at Zumbach's in NYC. Since I have had it I have done all the oil changes (every 3500 miles) myself. It i currently due for the 100,000 mile major service. Since I have had the car, I haven't had any major problems. The starter had to be replaced about 1 1/2 years ago, the antenna mast had to be replaced about a year ago, changed the disc brake pads about 9 months ago, got a new german canvas convt top 3 months ago, needed new exhaust system 2 months ago. One of the rims got slightly bent last year so I replace all four wheels with new Saab alloy wheels (15 spoke) that I had previously used for snow tires. Retail value of this car is apprx $11,900, will sacrifice for much less than that.
