Chris- as you can see from the other posts, the actual numbers will vary depending on what country you're buying your fuel in - but the general rule is the higher the better. In the US (where I assume you are from the email address), 92 or 93 (local/state ordinances will dictate the max available). You'll see a noticable increase in performance vs. the mid-grade, and if you can manage to keep your foot out of the turbo, your mileage should increase approx in proportion to the increased cost vs. mid-grade (i.e. 92oct may cost 15% more than 89, but you'll get an extra 2-3 mpg).
