Paul, Does the orange foglamp light come on on the dash. If it does and the lights don't light, it's probably the bulbs. You could check the wiring like this: 1. Turn on the sidelights. 2. Unscrew and remove the lamp cluster from the hatch door (it is a hatch, is it?). 3. Connect a jumper wire from the back of the lighting taillight to the back of the foglamp bulb. (DON'T connect the live to ground or you'll just blow fuses! The live contact is the one at the centre of the bulb, not the case). 4. Have an assistant check (or peer over the seats) to see if the orange foglamp light come on on the dash. 5. Check to see if the foglamp bulb lights. If yes to 4 and 5, it may be in the switch. Cool tip for extra brake lights My previous '86 900 didn't have a high-level stop light, so I connected a diode from the brake lights to the fog lights (watch the polarity or your foglamps will light the brakelights!). Voila! Instant double brake (stop) lights. The foglamp signal on the dash lights up every time you press the brakes, but that tells you the wiring is OK so I don't mind.
