Clutchless shiftting, up or down, is >as easy as automatic. Obviously, as you & I have exchanged mail on that before! So with freewheel engaged, one would NEVER double-clutch. (Every shift is nearly clutchless with FW.) So, I'm talkin' here about FW disengaged. (For those who missed the previous exchange: We disagree on the soundness of the old FW system, I contend--confirmed by a very successful ice racer--that the FW is very weak, especially if worked medium-hard.)
