Just bought a 92 900s non turbo. It just came off warranty and I found tons of warranty repair receipts. The head gasket blew and they put in a new head,lifters.camms and other parts. It says dissemble and measure cylinders and bores. Yet it doesnt say any more about the block etc. Today I nosed around and found a red metal tag on the drivers side near the bell housing. It states remanufactured small engine, it has a serial number by Scandia. Now I dont want to appear unknowledgeable, but does this mean that they also replaced the bottom end? The car has 70,000 miles and the engine worked on by saab 2,000 miles ago.....any insight. Thanks John Mc
