Subject: Re: 95 900SE front suspension problem

i had something similar happen with my '85 900S. try replacing the suspension bushings. also peel back the cv joint boot and check for prior damage (you did buy it used, after all). i have the '95 900SE V6. bought it new and have 94K miles. never a suspension problem since i have had all the scheduled maintenance done. and an editorial comment to all the V6/GM engine naysayers: this has been a great engine. way smoother than the 4-cylinder 2.0 will ever be. torque that leaves your ass in tatters. it's a shame the purists shrieked so loudly that SAAB/GM buckled. when this car expires i'll import a vauxhall! stuart kunkler cincinnati Peter and Mandy Wallington wrote in message <36667251.0nopsam134.5.33>... >I have just bought a '95 900SE (2ltr turbo manual) and now discovered a >mysterious clunk sound coming from the front right wheel when I drive over a >bump (kerb for example) or when I reverse then drive forward.
