This is very likely, see the posting old saabs vs new saabs. The new V6 some people are raving about comes from Opel/Vauxhall Calibra. This GM's European branch that makes mostly small family cars and that look like thirteen in a dozen. Maybe this Newsgroup can get GM to think again. The basis of todays Saab engines lies in the 2 liter B engine wich later became the H type wich was developed in to the 16V and so on. This was and is a great engine that should stay the foudation of Saab.
