My 93 9000 Aero lost its timing chain at 72,000 miles. Repair was $3400!
Of course I got some new engine mounts and a nice new serpentine belt as
part of that cost :-). Absolutely no warning - just cruising along and
then *silence*.
I suggest you *tow* the car to the mechanic now and have your chain
replaced.
