I wrote to this newsgroup a month back to ask about why I should need to hold the steering wheel at about 5 dehree to keep a straight line on the motorway. It was suggested that I check the wheel alignment and tyre depths. I've just had a Saab service and the car seems to be wrong with the workings or alignment. The reason I was given is that it was due to different rubber compounds on the two front tyres. The garage swapped over the two tyres to see if they could correct the problem and said it was OK. But on the way back I was still having to compensate in the same direction as before. Has anyone heard of this sort of problem before?
