Indeed the 9-3 uses the vectra-platform. Indeed the V6 and diesel are opel-engines. Just check the items : 'old saabs versus new saabs' and 'the 9-5 V6 is here' to see a lot of opinions. Unfortunately for it's originality and design saab has been taken over by GM. Now they decide what to devellop. Too bad !! Johan.
