If your not comfortable with doing that then the other fix is replace 1 or both tail lights & repair or replace both tail light wiring conectors.If you disconnect the plug at the tail light you'll see what i'm talking about. It's the black wire & it will be discolored & or melted.Basically my fix bypasses that wire.
