Changed the waterpump 6 years ago and did the crankshaft front oil seal this summer myself while also changing the timing belt. Last year I finally put some new spark plug wires on it but I havn't touched the original distributor yet. I have changed the timing belt every 70,000 km or less and changed oil and filter at an average of 5,000 to 7,000 km. In the past year I have switched to synthetic oil. Seems to run better ( or so I imagine ). Oil consumption is about 1 litre per 4,000 km which I think is excellent. Too bad that the body is now rusting badly because the car runs excellent.
