The 740iL makes only slightly less hp and is a FAR better engine from ALL standpoints. The V-12 is a bigger engine without substantially larger output, so all you end up doing is paying extra for gas and maintenace... Doesn't seem like much of a deal to me. Perhaps you should go back to the "computer related business" you're doing so well at and stay the heck out of used cars. People like you give used car salesmen bad names... selling some poor old lady a car she didn't need. Extended warranty or not, you should be ashamed. And, all that aside, isn't the resale value of the car something to consider??? Why the heck does it have such a low resale value? Possibly because the car is crap. People lease them for three years, and get out of it before things start breaking. It's quite sad to see a marque such as BMW, traditionally with high resale values (checked the price of an E28 535i lately?) to have a single model with a pitifully low valuation. Compare it against its main competitor - the S500 and S600 - and it really looks sad. Hmph. They should have killed off the 750i/L years ago. Maybe they'll put the new M5 engine in the 7-series and then they can kill the V12 - finally. -Justin
