Model and year are coded in the VIN;
97 73 50 00001 - 97 73 50 02300 
First year with the big black bumpers, engine 1700 cc 'socker ball'
wheels.

Brake hoses should be easy to find, standard stuff. The wiper motor may
be more difficult (Lucas) but is ame as SAAB 96. Check salvage yards,
but wiper motor may still be repairable.
