Subject: 9000 clutch hydraulic failure
Hi, I have a '93 9000 turbo 5spd with 45K miles. It suddenly lost the
hydraulics on the clutch. There was no slippage, just the clutch
grabbing down at the floor and the pedal not coming back up. The dealer
is taking it apart now, says it may or may not be a warranty item
depending on clutch wear. Is there a dimension for new vs. worn clutch
that I should know when they tell me the verdict? Any ideas? Thanks
much!
BTW, anyone want to make an offer for this car!? '93 9000CSE 5spd turbo
45000 mi, red/tan leather, sunroof etc. New tires, great shape.
Paul
