i have a 87 spg. recently while i'm in gear, just about any gear. when i see the tach hit about 2.5k to 3k rpms the engine revs like it lost its gear. sometimes it does this briefly but most of the time i lose the gear all together. i dont think, and god knows i really hope, its not my tranny. i had my tranny replace 4 years ago from a saab dealer. it cost me an arm and leg. i only put 30k miles since then on it. it also feels sluggish. like i dont have full power. could it be a vacuum leak.
