Better check the brochures. Indeed the 9-3 has been build on an Opel Vectra Chassis. But the four-cylinder engines are still genuine Saab-ones and in the 9-3 there a two full-pressure turbos available (at least in Belgium). If you have followed the other discussions concerning Saab versus Opel you'll see that I also regret that Saab has been taken over by GM and that Saab definitely has lost some of it's personality. But you cannot deny that the Saab 9-5 has been called to be the most safe car in it's class in a European crash-test, and that is some things that Saab was and is allways standing for. Johan.
